DevOps Engineer

In this role your mission will be to help maintain our newly released state of the art Unified Communications platform (UCaaS). This job provides the unique opportunity to develop a fully automated ecosystem deployment solution! 

Working with the best European unified communication specialists and software engineers this platform will be greatly contributing to the product portfolio of Enreach. You will work on building and maintaining customized monitoring tools, event management, dashboards and setting up all the ITIL practices. All in close collaboration with our software developers and global support teams. 

The Role

  • Support and improve our tools for the monitoring of our production platforms: dashboard (Prometheus, Grafana), alert management, log tracing (Graylog).
  • Blue-Green deployment strategy to reduce downtime and risk on a Kubernetes infrastructure.
  • Anticipate, investigate and address availability, performance and capacity issues.
  • Measure (and be alerted of) the service availability for a better anticipation of incidents.
  • Problem, Incident, Emergency management.
  • Maintain the integrity of configuration items using a Configuration Management System (CMS).
  • Ensure the Change Management process is effective and the CMS information is complete, accurate and available.
  • Setup additional network components.
  • Introduce any technologies that contribute to a fully automated ecosystem.
  • Think up and create any further tools to empower our support teams.

Who are you?

  • You bring deep knowledge of Linux environments, Bash and Python scripting.
  • Experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Linux web-based applications.
  • Ability to demonstrate a clear interest a motivation in automating everything (build, test, release/deploy, monitoring, reporting).
  • Experience with, or ambition to dive into, our tech-stack which includes: Kubernetes, Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, REST API’s, Grafana, Prometheus, Alert Manager, Sonar, Git, Bitbucket.
  • Successful experience in ITIL practices would be a big plus.
  • You are technically creative and have great problem-solving skills.
  • You possess a proactive, inquisitive and analytical mindset and have proven to be a quick self-learner.
  • Having worked in high growth environments and/or multinational virtual teams would be beneficiary.
  • Highly proficient in English and preferably a second European language.
