IT Support Engineer

In this role you will be the first point of contact within our organization for any ICT-related topics. You will play an important role in moving the German Swyx IT environment to a next level based on your own findings and priorities.

The role

  • Answering any IT related questions and assisting internal staff
  • Handling 1st and 2nd line internal IT support requests
  • Sharing responsibility for the management of the (Office IT) Windows Server, the Microsoft Azure platform and the Microsoft Office 365 environment
  • Installing and managing hardware (laptops and mobile phones)
  • Provisioning and configuring user accounts and licences for access to systems and services
  • Troubleshooting and resolving problems in our IT environment
  • Managing and configuring a high quality IT environment
  • Considering server and workstation management plans

Who are you?

  • You bring >2 years of relevant experience in the area of IT support/workplace management
  • Completed relevant training as an IT specialist for system integration
  • Knowledge of, or experience with, Windows Server Active Directory / Office 365
  • Knowledge of the latest Microsoft products and technologies is considered a plus
  • Ideally initial experience with SwyxWare or other VoIP systems
  • Pragmatic, independent and proactive approach to work
  • Strong communicative, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Fluent German and very good English language skills, both written and spoken
