UI Designer

As a UI designer, you will be responsible for creating unique, user-centric products and experiences. You will also be directly contributing to the design system by creating the components, patterns, interactions, and behaviours that define our system and underpin our product's user experience. We are looking for an experienced and talented UI designer who has experience working in agile teams, with developers, and UX designers.

The Role

  • Create the blueprints for our components, patterns, interactions, and behaviours that define our design system
  • Native Mobile and responsive design for leading unified communications product
  • Web and mobile app designs 
  • Work daily with Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Sketch, Zeplin
  • Apply your analytical grasp to make sustainable design decisions and sometimes look at the code of front-end designs yourself
  • Work in a business to business environment with a cross border team 
  • Work with agile/scrum methodologies

Who are you?

  • With at least 3 years of professional experience as a UI designer, of course, your portfolio speaks for you
  • You know the design guidelines and resources of Apple, Windows and Android inside out... (and possibly don't agree with all of them or can better them!)
  • Extensive knowledge of design and prototyping software.
  • Proficient with industry-standard design tools (e.g. Sketch, Zeplin, Adobe Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop).
  • You have a proactive mindset, strong analytical skills and a structured way of working.
  • Strong visual design skills, a good understanding of typography and layout, usability and accessibility; motion/interaction design is a plus
  • Highly proficient in English

Bonus Points for...

  • Your work shows proper use of grids and colours combinations
  • You have experience with video editing/motion graphics
  • Familiar with prototyping tools, inspector and handoff process and tooling
  • Affinity with front-end technologies; basic understanding of HTML/CSS is a plus
  • Knowledge of Invision, Adobe XD or Axure is useful
