Swyx Flex is a strategic licensing model that allows our partners to offer the full, feature-rich Swyx Unified Communications (UC) solution, installed on a customer's own server, but billed on a flexible, monthly basis.  

It is designed to solve a critical challenge in the market: addressing the needs of businesses that desire the financial predictability of a SaaS subscription (OpEx) but require the control, data sovereignty, and deep customization possibilities of an on-premises deployment. Swyx Flex provides the perfect hybrid solution for this segment, bridging the gap between traditional on-premises PBX and pure-cloud UCaaS offerings.

The architecture is a sophisticated hybrid. The SwyxWare software—the core UC engine—is installed on a server at the customer's site or in their private cloud, giving them full control over the environment.  

The "Flex" aspect comes from the licensing, which is managed online. Instead of a perpetual license key, the on-premises installation communicates with Enreach's central license server to validate the monthly subscription.

This is managed through our Swyx Operator portal, where you, the partner, can easily add or remove users and adjust profiles on a monthly basis, providing true commercial flexibility. This model also includes software updates, ensuring the customer's solution remains current without additional costs.
